Cooking With Mommy

So Gracie girl and I made meatballs and brownies yesterday. Grace loves helping so she was very excited to do this. It was cute, at first she didn't want anything to do with putting her hands in the ground beef but then I showed her how to make the balls and she tried. And she was really good at it and even paid attention... a pleasant surprise from the little girl!

And they turned out awesome, we had a really nice Sunday dinner together. And Quinn thanked me twice for the brownies... that kid loves his sweets!!

It is May already!

Holy cow, I didn't realize how long it has been since I have put an entry on my blog! Sorry!!

So baby Julia is 8 months old today, talk about time flying! She is just such a happy baby, we are so blessed. Lets see what is new with the little girl... she LOVES puffs! All I have to do is bring the container out and shake it and she goes nuts! And she is really good at feeding herself. She loves her brother & sister... it is so cute how she lights up when they come in the room. And they love her so much, it is cute how protective they are of her.

Quinn & Grace are now in big girl/boy beds. I want to get the room all finished and then I will post a picture. They looked so big in their cribs and now they look so little in their beds! They have each fallen out once and are fine. The other night when Quinn fell out I didn't hear it happen, I just heard him whining/crying. I went into the dark room and was feeling aroud and couldn't find him. Then I hear... "I am on the floor Mommy" ... poor guy! They are also now wearing big kid underwear... or as Quinn calls them... special underwear! I can't believe how big they are getting.

And this weekend is Mother's Day!! The weather is supposed to be yucky on Sunday, so not sure what we are going to do.

Puppy Pictures

I almost forgot the puppy pictures!!

Oh a bunch of stuff...

So I feel like a lot has been happening lately!

I made super cute cupcakes for daycare the other day, they were actually for St Patricks Day but were not very festive! I did hear they tasted good.

We are potty training... yes you read right! Quinn & Grace now both have underwear, and holy cow they look so cute in them. I know Joe will kill me for putting these pictures on here, but just look at those little bums!

On Friday our good friends Emma & Samantha came over and brought their new little puppy Rocky. He is 7 weeks old and is so very teeny tiny, the kids loved him. Emma & Sam and the rest of the Sodaro family have adopted my children!

And then this past weekend we went to Grandma & Grandpa's house in Rochester and spent the night. On Saturday we went to Strong Museum and had so much fun, what a great place. Grace loved the mini Wegmans, funny how she likes to shop just like her mommy! And Quinn loved the train area... Grandpa even took him for a ride. And Julia was such a good girl in her stroller, just watching all of the activity around her. And the girls had super cute matching outfits on... thank you grammy!

Little Miss Julia

So Julia is now 6 months old, holy cow! She really is such a happy baby. Joe and I were talking the other night that really the only time she gets crabby is when she is tired or hungry. Other then that, she is smiling! And oh my, she loves Quinn & Gracie. It is so cute how she lights up when she sees them, and just loves watching them.

And she rolled over last week for the 1st time!!! And she is now eating sweet potatoes, squash, mixed veggies and applesauce. It is so funny how relaxed Joe and I are this time around. I remember when the twins started eating we were so by the book... like 1 new food a week in case they had an allergy. Julia, that kid had 3 new kinds in 1 week. And she is fine :)

And she is doing great at daycare, she actually has a boyfriend! His name is Owen and he is 1 day older, she likes the older guys!

I am back!

Hello everyone, yes I am finally back on my blog. And to those friends that have checked and checked again to see nothing new, thank you! As you all know things have been absolutely crazy at the Dennie house. Shortly after my last blog I got very sick, returned to work at the end of January and then had a house full of sick kids with pneumonia! Baby Julia actually ended up in the hospital, poor little peanut.

So things are finally calming down a little. Julia is going to be 6 months old on the 8th, holy cow. She started cereal last week and is doing a lot better with it. It took her a bit to learn how to swallow. And we actually started sweet potatoes this weekend, oh what a mess.

Quinn & Gracie are doing awesome. They went to see Sesame Street Live this weekend with Grammy, and surprise surprise Grammy is back to visit! We miss her and always have so much fun when she comes to see us.

And last weekend the Carrolls came over for dinner. As you can see all the kids, except clean little Miss Kamryn had fun with their dinner.

And I promise to put more pictures and posts on!!

Aunt Couchy

Margot gets a lot of strange looks when people hear the kids call her Aunt Couchy. It is funny, they very rarely call her Aunt Margot. And the reason for that is they always seem to find her on the couch! Even if a bed is available she is on the couch. I am pretty sure Joe started the name and it has stuck... sorry Margot.

But this entry is to say how nice it is for Quinn, Grace & Julia to have an Aunt in their lives that loves them so much. We actually asked Margot to be Julia's godmother, or as Margot says "Fairy Godmother". And she loves spoiling them and is notorious for buying them really big & loud toys...

  • Power Wheels

  • Burger Joint

  • Yo Gabba Gabba microphone (so annoying)

So thank you Couchy and the kids are excited to see you at Thanksgiving. They said you will be flying on Wubby's airplane.
